Hurray, it's summer time! Well at least it was last weekend when these pictures were taken. My boyfriend and me spent the day at Cliveden, the only downside was that quite a few people had the same idea and it was rather busy. We didn't visit the house, but wandered around the grounds and had ice cream. I hope this weekend will be just as nice.

I really like flowery summer dresses at the moment and I just adore the Victorian Maiden Rococco series. This dress is one of my exam panic purchases, I think it was a good one! The pictures were taken by my lovely boyfriend.

I've had a very busy week, but hopefully my MSc project will be completed soon and I can enjoy some free time! I hope you're having a good week!

Hello everyone... it's been a rather busy month. Well, I had my exams in May and that was pretty hectic. Anyway, this weekend I went to a boat show at Beale Park to help my friend Joy spread the word about her charity MASC (Monkeys Acting in Schools for Conservation )

For the occasion I wore Angelic Pretty's Marine Frill JSK, which I have recently acquired. I don't usually go for sweet dresses, but oh my do I love this one! Shoes by Ugo Torrini, Cardigan by New Look. We had a really good time, though unfortunately it started raining in the evening. Meh!

Yes, once again it has been a long time since I have updated my blog. Damn those exams and courseworks. Shopping always helps with stress and this lovely dress by Victorian Maiden is one of my newest acquisitions. I love the colour, it is such a lovely spring dress!

Talking of spring, the past couple of weekends the weather has been lovely and my boyfriend and me went to Basildon Park. I'm always surprised by how long I can walk about in High Heels, but I couldn't resist the lovely flowers and so we walked around the grounds.

Anyway, there won't be many outings in the next few weeks, because I will have my exams in may. I can't wait to get them over and done with, so I can finally read books unrelated to my studies. I am very much looking forward to reading Roal Dahl's Unexpected Tales, which I got for Easter.

Spring is here! Hurray! Today was a lovely warm day in the UK (just like yesterday) and I spent some time reading in the garden to relax. I know, I probably shouldn't relax from reading for my next assignment by reading a book, but I rediscovered 'Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel ' by Susanna Clarke. It narrates the history of English Magic in an alternate Britain where Magic exists. I recommend it if you like fantasy or good literature, it is incredibly well written.

I have of course done a reasonable amount of shopping to relax, but I bought this dress last year. It's by Kids Yoyo, the blouse is by Nolita and the shoes are from a shop (that does't exist anymore) in Berlin. I really wanted to wear this dress in autumn and pair it with some nice brown boots, but it arrived to late. Works quite well in spring too!

As you can see my cat came out to play too! It has become a dreadful habit of mine not to update my blog for weeks, but I haven't really felt like taking pictures. I might actually include things like theatre, literature etc more in my blog from now on, I am getting bored by myself. What do you think? Have a pleasant weekend!

So, once again I have failed to keep up my blog, as usual my excuse is University and stress. I really wish that when something bad happens, it wouldn't always come in threes.

This is without a doubt my new favourite dress. It is incredibly comfortable to wear and absolutely amazing. It's from Toast, a shop that was recommended to me by my friend S. I really like their plain, but elegant style and am even happier to buy from them after reading their policy regarding materials and ethics.

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Yule, or whatever you may be celebrating. I have finally pulled myself out of my self created misery and stress, thanks to a couple of lovely days in Berlin. Me and my boyfriend were meant to go for 10 days and then our flights got cancelled, so we flew out Christmas Eve and stayed for 4 days.

I got some lovely presents, including my very own digital camera from my boyfriend, plenty of books, a beautiful skirt by Innocent World from my gran and other lovely things. Berlin was completely snowed in and we actually had to spend some time shovelling snow of my gran's roof. I love snow.

My lovely coat is from FanPlusFriend, it actually kept me warm. The Pirate boots were also quite useful since the snow was quite high! I bought the hat in Estonia and the muff is from a little shop in Berlin.

I made my gran an apron for Christmas, which I think she really liked and will post some pictures soon. Despite having to write my second piece of coursework, I have been doing some sewing and other pleasant things. Maybe since the deadline is 2 weeks away, I am not losing it as much as I usually am.

Woot! I've managed to survive my first essay! Handed it in on time and all. Also: because I worked some shifts at the theatre, I can can afford to buy myself something nice. I actually don't know what. I had ordered a cloche hat, but it was really badly made so I had to return it.

I took those pictures before I faced the rain the other day. The cape is from Zara (Surprise, surprise) and I bought it in my first month in London. Blouse by Chilli Pepper, Bowler Hat by Asos.

I'm sorry, this will be a rather boring post because I am exhausted, all I want to do is cuddle up with Madam Le Kitten and read some more Terry Pratchett.

I really have to do some sewing this weekend, as I am making my gran an apron for Christmas. Busy, busy. Any of you bought Christmas presents yet? I always start stupidly early, so I've already got some for my boyfriend in my room, hidden under scarves.

A little belated, but here is my Halloween Post. We didn't dress up this year, just spent some time watching creepy films and eating pumpkin based foods. Well, Pumpkin cup cakes. And we carved a lovely Pumpkin face.

I am currently sitting at my desk and am watching 'Hogfather' as I am typing this. I really should be writing my essay, but I love Terry Pratchett and I think the films are so well made. I really need to get around to watching Going Postal.

Oh, looky, here's a picture of the skirt I made and gave to my friend. No pictures of her wearing it, she's worried the camera will steal her soul. What do you think?

Coats are my favourite pieces of clothing. This one is a particular favourite, it's the Beltane Coat from Dark Angel Fairy Tale clothing . It's dark green velvet and sooo lovely. I always feel like I should be in Middle Earth when I am wearing it.

Oh dear, what horrid weather! It has been raining all day today and nonetheless I had to leave the house. Oh the world is a cruel place! Then again, I do love autumn, mainly because it justifies a fire and some hot chocolate.

I love those stripey socks, I bought them at Urban Outfitters some time back. They're Cashmere and incredibly warm and cosy. The space cowboy boots are from Irregular Choice and the dress from Gloomth.

I haven't really been up to much since my last post, apart from studying and deciding which colour the book shelf my boyfriend made for me, should be. Though next week I will finally make it to the Japanese Fashion Exhibition at the Barbican and of course, before that : Halloween! Time for special cakes and Horror Movies with some of my friends.

Anyway, there is more studying to be done ( or more gaming to be done, I need to finish Dante's Inferno on my PSP) and it is nearly Dinner time! Hope you are all having a lovely week!

Wow, it has suddenly gone very, very cold. I mean, just a few days ago it was lovely and autumny. I nearly froze yesterday, despite several layers of clothing. Obviously these pictures are from the warmer days.

I had two lovely days off from Uni and actually managed to do some fun activities. I went horse riding, went to the cinema with my boyfriend and some friends.... I finished the skirt. Though the measurements I took of myself where wrong (Duh, Idiot!), so now I will pass it on to my dear friend J.

I really love those boots, I bought them at Office years ago. Unfortunately the colour inside transfers onto other fabrics, so I have a lot of socks with red soles. The blouse is from some shop or other somewhere in Notting Hill.

Anyway, my cat is miaowing and demanding attention! Hope you're having a lovely evening!

This is how I like autumn : Sunny, with a little bit of wind, red leaves, conkers for my pockets and swans on the river. I wish I didn't have a cold and could have spent more time outside.

The stress of being a student has fully returned, I completely forgot how anxious I get. Normally I'd eradicate the stress by going shopping, but unfortunately I'm a poor student now. Oh dear.

I really love this coat, the patterns on the fabric are wonderful. It's from FanPlusFriend, the skirt is from Saint Tropez, Shoes from ObjectInMirror and the hat from a factory Design sale in Berlin.

Apart from having a cold, I had quite a pleasant and relaxed weekend, spending time with my lovely boyfriend (who took the pictures) and hanging out with a friend. Though we watched the most horrible film called 'Plague Dogs'. Very upsetting, and made by the same people who brought us 'Watership Down'. Disturbing to say the least.

Tomorrow I will hopefully finishing sewing a skirt, that I was meant to have finished ages ago. That's my main plan for tomorrow, apart from attending lectures and reading the necessary journals. Anyway, I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are looking forward to a productive week ahead!

I'm back. I apologise for the break, my holidays were just too much and I was overwhelmed by the wonderful experiences. So no holiday pictures from my 2 Italy holidays, as I couldn't possibly condense them into a post or two!

I'm back in England and back at Uni, it's raining and I'm already hideously anxious about assessments. Same old, same old. I did some good shopping in Italy and have just ordered 3 new autumn dresses from Qutieland. Yay.

I'm very much in love with these shoes, my parents bought them for me when we were in Sienna. They're very practical for my standards, thoughwalking them in turns out to be a bit of a pain. The skirt is from a thrift store in Berlin, Blouse by Mango and woolly socks by S.Oliver.

Anyway, I'm a happy bunny in front of the fireplace. I like the sound of the rain and having a comforting hot chocolate. I think I shall spend the evening watching Twelfth Night.

Tadah, I'm back with vengeance. And a cat!I'm sorry I've been gone for so long, but my camera decided to stay in psychedelic mode and I spilled water over my laptop whilst I was in Berlin. Not such a good plan really.

I'm back in England and waiting for my second UCL interview, thus slowly going insane. Missing Berlin a little bit, but it's so good to be back with my boyfriend and cat. And my wardrobe. Also the departure was sweetened by the many great things me and my gran bought together as I got to unpack them upon arrival in the UK. Nearly as good as buying them.

This top is one of them, so pretty, I think it is my new favourite top. It's by Fornarina and I simply cannot get over the prettyness. The white dress is by Koci Koci, petticoat by Bodyline, gloves by H&M and shoes by Object in Mirror.

Anyway, I've missed blogging and the picture taking fun and it's lovely to be back. In the next few days I shall catch up on stuff, read my many new books (including a 1908 edition of Through the Looking Glass with the original illustrations) and buy lace to pretty up some tops.

It's still hot. I fled to the outskirts of Berlin, to my gran's garden. Very lovely and the shade under the trees was very nice.

I'm still sticking to the heatwave chic. Smallest amount of light clothing. The skirt is really light and floaty (from Lipsy), however a little too floaty for the breeze in England. Consequently it stays in Berlin for hot days.

I like how my gran's garden has some very jungle like bits and some very structured bits. I like the jungle bits. they're a little bit like a tiny secret forest. To me at least.

Totally want to steal this chair, as I'm a little bit in love with the fabric for the cushion bits.

I love strawberries, so I've been eating them a lot. They put up little strawberry stalls everywhere around Berlin and if one buys a certain amount one gets one of these lovely red bags that one can squeeze together into a strawberry shape. So cute.

Oh my, it is hot here! Yesterday I tried spending some time outside with my friend D. and we were so exhausted by 20.30 we went to our respective homes and slept. Nonetheless, the afternoon was lovely.
We wandered through Berlin Mitte and the Hackeschen Hoefe, occasionally stopping for drinks and exploring our different shopping tastes.

Nom Nom, Sushi and apple something soda mix.

My camera went a little bit psychedelic again, it amuses me quite a bit. Here my friend D. distorted in pink! Rock on!

I did try to take outfit pictures, but as said before heat makes me look all patchy and wrong. So just a few more lovely things I bought: I went to Adidas. Being the non athletic person that I am, I've only bought one thing from Adidas and that was when I was 12. However I saw this lovely bag and could not resist.

My gran bought me this lovely folder, so kitsch but I love it!

Hopefully I'll be back to normal posting soon (i.e. the temperature decreases). I really should have attempted to get to some Berlin Fashion week related events, but once again 37 degrees Celsius just makes me go wrong.

I have arrived and settled in Berlin. I haven't stayed in Berlin longer than 2 weeks for ages and it's kind of weird. very nice though that I get the chance to catch up with my friends, spent time with my parents and go out for meals with my grandmamas. Well it would be, if I didn't have to study to catch up on cell and molecular biology, so that I can do my Msc in 1 year, instead of 2.

The weather was slightly more normal, the past 3 days it was 38 degrees Celsius. What the hell? So I'm back to fun outfits, rather than just moping around in shorts and a top. The dress is my absolute favourite. It's from Koci Koci, sold by a shop in Notting Hill that I refer to as the 'white shop on the corner'. Me and my friend Sakura used to raid it during our Uni days.

My gran took these pictures, so much fun and very amusing. We went shopping and out for lunch afterwards, I really miss that when I'm in England.

I was looking for a nice handbag, that would fit at least 2 books and some water (How I love commuting).

Tadaaah! Look what I found:

Fred Perry, not leather but some sort of plastic, which for once does not look tacky but pretty cool. In my opinion. We also got some lovely tops, but they will appear in Outfit posts.

The sales assistants were so lovely, admittedly some of them even recognised my gran and me. Phard even gave all customers a bottle water with the purchase. Bloody heat.

All the sailor boys have demons...

Tadaaah! Unfortunately I am back from Greece, had a lovely time sailing. I like my sunshine holiday clothes to be very laid back, hippie chic! Lolita clothing and ruffles are unfortunately not quite so suitable for hot places. I got the top from a shop somewhere in Notting Hill and ordered the glasses from dollydagger, very cheaply so I could lose them whilst sailing, however fell in love with them.

Greece is such a lovely country, and the food is far too yummy. Due to sailing catamarans and slightly more advanced boats because I really wanted to sail with my boyfriend rather than the instructors, I am now covered in bruises and have learned a lot. Mainly that I definitely need knee pads!

Yup, my sailing outfit! Possibly the sportiest outfit I have ever worn. More holiday chic, Greece and me in a bathing suit under the cut. Don't want to scare anyone, but the bathing suit is far too darling not to show it off!!

This is possibly my favourite outfit from this holiday, it actually rained one day so I wore this lovely silk skirt (bought in Malaga, Spain). We rented a car end drove around the island, found a waterfall and some lovely mountain villages, bought local honey and tried to catch the sun!

Isn't it just the most lovely swimsuit ever? It's possibly one of the few times I'm actually not hiding in the shadows to protect my skin, however the amount of sun lotion I put on my skin every 10 minutes probably saved me from premature aging. I hope so at least.

Hello everyone, I have been a very bad blogger and I am quite annoyed with the lack of posts myself. I had this interview for my Masters and I kinda screwed it up but essentially still got a place anyway. Yay. Nonetheless the last week and a half was awfully stressful.

My Innocent World Pompadour skirt finally arrived and I love it so much. Unfortunately the import tax (plus the books I needed to buy for my Msc) completely stretched my budget and there'll be no more shopping till July. Sad times.

The blouse is vintage and lovely silky wonderfulness. Anyway, I'm off for a sailing holiday in Greece tomorrow, so hiatus for a week and then I'll be back to regular posting and catching up on my bloglovin list! Sorry for not commenting. I shall leave you with some lovely 80's music.

Tadaaaah! I made a new skirt! I am very pleased with the way the fabric and the lace work together. I also made two little bows for my hair, what do you think? I think it's a lil bit Country Lolita and I like!

I'm wearing my vintage petticoat for extra poofiness, top by H&M and shoes by Irregular Choice. Talking of shoes, I finally bought myself some sandals, can't wait for them to arrive. Though looking at the colour theme of my most recent posts I've noticed I ought to get some white or red shoes. I actually really want some red patent leather Mary Janes.

I spent so much time sewing in the past 3 days, obviously sewing my skirt and I helped my friend sew monkey tails for her Msc project. She's doing a play about primate conservation to educate children about the ways to preserve habitats of primates.

Tonight me and my boyfriend are going to the Barbican (again, yes it is my favourite museum/arts centre this summer). They have a surreal them this summer and we are going to see L'age D'or and Un chien andalou by Bunuel (and Dalí), I am very much looking forward to that.

Today the weather was not too amazing so I went fabric shopping! Squee! Found the perfects skull/rose fabric for this dress I've wanted to make for ages and some really cute flower fabric and some amazing lace for a Lolita skirt. Can't wait to get started.

I watched Tales of Hoffman this evening, which I thouroughly enjoyed! Basically Hoffman, a poet tells the tale of his three loves and how they essentially all failed. I love Opera and really enjoyed the film of this one, it contained some amazing ballet in the first tale as well.

Sleepy time now, tomorrow will involve some shopping! ;-)

Vicious you hit me with a flower!

Oh my, how hot was it/ is it this weekend!?! I keep forgetting that I don't deal so well with heat, my face goes all blotchy and due to the hayfever my eyes go red and swell up. Nonetheless I really enjoyed my excursion to Grey's Court this weekend, a 16th Century mansion. My boyfriend and me spent most of the time in the lovely gardens and enjoyed the weather, despite my sneezing.

I felt very casual, so I decided to wear this little black dress by mbyM, which I only bought because one day when I was still working part time during my studies in this little shop on Portobello Road my skirt was too attracted to my stocking and kept doing odd things, so I needed a quick fix.

The sandals are by Replay ( I still haven't found a pair that I like for this season, it's annoying me to no end!), the Pearl necklace from Portobello Market and the sunglasses are by Roberto Cavalli. I always wanted a pair of Roberto Cavalli sunglasses, mainly because the majority of them have some snake detail and I love snakes. Also very handy for hiding my red eyes. One of my favourite purchases this year.

On a different note, I finally got around to reading Vanity Fair and am enjoying it far more than I thought I would. I'm very glad I got a lot of books as birthday presents and can't wait to read them

Drowning in Berlin!

Oh dear, that was a blog break that lasted far too long. I have returned to the UK, travelled in questionable style as you can see above (F+F coat, Gobbolino shirt, Bodyline skirt, woolly socks and a Hugo Boss handbag full of books because I cannot travel lightly). I have remarkably little pictures to share because I am grimacing at my father in a lot of them and just look odd.

This is one of the few acceptable pictures my boyfriend took, wearing a Mango dress and my new hat that I bought on a little market near the Kollwitzplatz (in case anyone ever goes to Berlin, go to the market , they have nice hats and other stuff. ) Due to the lack of reasonable outfit posts I shall leave you with some nice 'street art' and shall be back soon with a proper post!!

Yesterday was too hot for everything. I shouldn't really complain, because I wanted spring but 27 degrees is not spring!!! So it was too hot to take outside pictures and I hid in my house.

I don't think I will be posting until Sunday night, as I am going to Berlin for my birthday tomorrow to celebrate with my family. Squeeee, present time!!!!

I am wearing yet another Bodyline skirt, with a F+F petticoat, waistcoat by Mango and the shoes are (as usual) from a shop in Berlin. I tend to buy shoes in Berlin, rather than in England. Apart from my Irregular Choice ones obviously. I wish I could have worn my even poofier petticoat, but it was too hot. Sad times.

Yesterday me and my friend S. went to see an Anime version of Dante's Inferno (based on the story of the video game rather than on the original 'storyline), it was definitely interesting. 6 different studios worked on it, thus it was kind of split into 6 different parts in terms of animation. It was amusing to watch how Dante and Virgil changed appearances throughout. Definitely fun to watch. As I was waiting at the station a girl came back after crossing the road to compliment me on my outfit, I was rather pleased with that!

I am rather excited about going to Berlin, I haven't seen my family since March. Which, thinking about it, isn't that long! I sincerely hope that the BA strike and the Berlin Airport strike won't affect my departure.

Good Morning everyone. This lovely pink/turquoise place of sweets is the Candycakes café where me and my galpal Richard spent some quality time and had cupcakes on Friday. It's incredibly adorable and I love their cupcakes.

We spent the afternoon in Covent Garden, window shopping and found this amazing Pirate shop! They sell pirate crockery and just some really cool stuff! I was trying to convince R. to buy a basecap with Galleyslave written on it, but he wasn't having any of it!

I'm really not so much into the lace trend, since most of the lace tops sold seem to look quite tacky. I generally love lace, so when I found these lace pattern stockings I was over the moon. The dress is by Margit Brandt from a little shop in Berlin, my grandmama bought it for me. It's so comfy and airy, since it was incredibly hot on Friday!

Friday was an incredibly busy day for me in terms of social interaction, After R. and me spent some time in Soho Square I set off to get ready as me and my friend Ruth had tickets for the Magic Night at Madame JoJo's.

I finally got the chance to wear my shiny gold/pink dress from the Pink Label!

The Magic Night was pretty cool, I would definitely go again. Afterwards we were planning to go to a bar called 'The Electric Birdcage', but the music was just too loud for a bar and they served Cocktails in a pintglass. Needless to say we left and went to the Crazy Bear bar near Goodge Street. Much nicer and great Cocktails, which unfortunately meant that I missed my train and had to wait an hour and a half for the next one. One of the Station workers got me a tea from Costa though, which made the waiting a lot better.

One good thing about the whole train fiasco was that Paddington station looks pretty cool when deserted and the way home is simply beautiful!

I apologise for the recent lack of posts, but I worked my last 5 shifts in the last week and was exhausted. I will miss working, but I am sooo looking forward to my 4 month holiday.

My boyfriend and me went to see Peter Pan by the Scottish National Theatre at the Barbican today, a beautiful production. If you get a chance: go and see it!
I thought this green silk dress by Laundry Industry fitted the occasion perfectly. I found it in a Vintage shop in Notting Hill and haven't worn it once. It somehow reminds me of Peter Pan and pixies, so I just had to wear it today.

The shoes are by Marc Jacobs and the clutch purse was a present from my Dad, he brought it back from Sudan when he was working there.

I even managed to put on some make up, I put on some green eye shadow by mac, blusher, mascara and lipgloss. The abundance of it! I'm really not so good with make up because I have shaky hands and little patience, but I was pleased with the results.

OOh, my bathing suit arrived. I ended up buying the blue one.

It's amazing quality and is sooo flattering. I love ordering from lamagia.co.uk or their sister site forluna.co.uk, their customer service is impeccable and they send the items in little fabric bagswhich is so handy and adorable! I am desperate for a pair of sandals, I just cannot find one that I love. When I see something that I want there is usually an instant chemistry and I haven't had that with any. Argh!

Yesterday was a rather nice day, I was very productive and made some strawberry cupcakes with a vanilla chocolate filling and strawberry icing. I also cut out the fabric for the waist coat that I am going to make.

Afterwards I went over to my friend Joy's house and we took pictures, chatted, played Super Mario Cart on her Wii and some more friends came over. It's nice having time off and actually seeing people!

I simply adore this corset! It's made by Maya Hansen, check out her stuff on mayahansen.com. She truly makes some stunning corsets! I am a big fan of corsets, proper corsets. You know, the ones which aren't tied properly if you can speak without gasping! This corset particularly makes me think of Marie Antoinette, the ivory colour and the ruffles..!

Sometimes my camera (well, my boyfriend's camera, because I still have an old EXA 1c east german camera that I use. It used to belong to my Grandmama) goes a bit ood. Maybe the picture imp inside has taken some acid or pills, however I love it when it goes all psychedelic by itself!

Also introducing today: my friend J's cat Ghengis. She has four cats, however Ghengis decided to join us for the mini shoot, so he gets the honour!

Today I was back to my normal unsociable self and spent the majority of the day in bed with the cat and Terry Pratchett's Thief of Time. I really just about managed to get myself up and did some sewing about an hour ago.

I was feeling a little bit extravagant yesterday and thought I would wear my lovely rose Lolita head piece (gobbolino.co.uk).

The dress is from a rather tacky shop called Boon (they used to have stores in Notting Hill and Camden) and I saw it in the window and fell in love. Apart from this dress: not a shop I would recommend!

Please note the pretty bracelet!! (yes, I have a little snake obsession). A friend gave it to me for my birthday. It's sooo pretty!

I'm feeling rather fed up with the shitty weather in the Uk... ok, the sun is shining right now, but I am cold. I really want a proper spring. Especially since from next week Wednesday I won't be working anymore! Yay! Holiday season!

Talking of holidays: I am still not sure about which bathing suit to buy! I've given up on the Fifi Chachnil one (as I thought it made my thighs look odd when I tried it in their Covent Garden shop. So the competitors are:

Once again I am facing a serious dilemma in etrms of which bathing suit to buy! Fifi Chachnil's Shirley in red or a 50's style number with Polka Dots? Life is truly difficult! ;-) I may have to post pictures of the bathing suits in the close future, however I long to post the pictures from Monday, when me and my boyfriend went to Polesdon Lacey, a beautiful Estate in Surrey.

I'm wearing a Fanplufriend victorian style dress/Coat, a white Lolita dress by Gloomth.com underneath and my lovely Object in Mirror shoes.

I adore the bow detail on the back of the coat/ dress! It makes the garment even more special!

I don't accessorise as much as I would like because I usually just forget about necklaces or earrings, however I do love Cameos. LOVE them. I found this one on Portobello Road market and I think it is one of my favourites!

Then again, I am even wearing a necklace on this occasion, I am rather impressed with myself!

Good morning everyone!

I hate getting up in the morning. Admittedly 9.00 am is not so bad, but to be honest my preferred wakey time is around noon!

I truly, madly, deeply love this dress! I bought it from Cosmates.JP, Fanplusfriend and the shoes are Irregular Choice. They hurt my feet soo much and I thought I could not damage my feet anymore than I've already done.

Look at my cute pussycat! She loves clawing my shoes and on this occasion we played 'Where are the Dreamies?'. Dreamies are a very creatively named cat snack, filled with cheese. Nom, nom, nom.

Apologies for the lack of new posts, but I've had a few of those days. Unwell, discontent with myself and every picture looked wrong. Thankfully my little cat friend and my boyfriend cheered me up a little bit.

Today was meant to be my day of dressing all sailor like and actually go sailing (though I'd have to wear a wet suit for that). Unfortunatly the car battery decided to mess up, so instead I'm trying to decide on the cut of a waist coat I'm planning to create.

Sometimes I like overexposure. It's like the awesomeness of my outfit is blinding the camera lense. I know, enough of delusions of grandeur! My friend J. got me the skirt for christmas, together with the little Tutu I'm wearing underneath for poofiness. The blouse is from gloomth.com, I really like just how white it is.

I took the pictures just out the back door, thus this is my post song. I always have a track playing on repeat when I'm posting.

I really need to buy myself some summer dresses and I really want some short shorts, however all the ones I found yesterday at Bik Bok ( the only High Street Store I love, along with Miss Selfridge) and they were all a horrible mid length. Meh. Instead I bought a cute Lolita Blouse online and a white petticoat!

I'm somehow really joyful this year that it's spring. Usually I'm more of an autumn person, but this year I just want to be outside and run across meadows. So Thursday me and my boyfriend had a little picnic for lunch on a meadow near our house.

I got the black long skirt in Malaga, Spain 3 years ago and it's my favourite casual skirt. It's so comfy and flowy!
I got the bag in Berlin, it's from this really cute shop with adorable slogans on their items. (http://www.adelheidladen.de/adelheid/) Mine says Wanderlust and I'm thinking, come payday I may have to buy a few items on their website.

It's my third nightshift tonight and I am feeling so brain dead, consequently I'll be keeping this post short rather than babble on. Hope everyone is having an exciting weekend!

I am so annoyed, I cannot find my copy of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere anywhere. I hate not knowing where my books are, I feel about my books as other people feel about there children. I have been craving Neverwhere for days now and I may have to buy a new copy. This is rather annoying as I was planning on spending some money on Make up.

Admittedly I am not so great with Make up, I hardly wear it and if I do it usually consists of some light eye shadow, lipstick and mascara, occasionally Manhattan dream mousse foundation and eyeliner. Nonetheless I love buying it.

I'm wearing a high waisted Bodyline skirt, Doc Martens and my DryCorn Blazer, despite the sun it's hideously cold outside.

By the way: Read Neverwhere if you are in need of a good book. It's amazing.

I finally finished my dress! Tadaaaah! What do you think? Hot or not?

I really love the material I used for the top bits, I got it from the wardrobe mistress from a show I worked on as a dresser. The skirt part is made from an old duvet cover, lol. I made it mainly for practice but I think it turned out pretty well!

My boyfriend and me finally had a day off together and the weather played along so we went to Avebury.
Avebury is famous for the very big stone circle that was re erected in the 1930's. A wonderfully realaxing place.

I'm wearing my beloved petticoat, a new skirt I bought some weeks ago from bodyline JP,a jacket by River Island, shoes from Berlin by Vagabond and the handbag is Vintage, given to me by my Gradmama.

I really love trees and I am still considering the idea of a tree tattoo. I just can't think of a suitable placement.

This season Satchel bags appear to have made a fashion comeback, a trend I am particularily happy about for 2 reasons: 1. I love them! 2. I bought a Harry Potter one last October. Hah, Trendsetter or what?

The dress is from http://www.etsy.com/shop/MarieRetroRevival , I love her Blog. Obviosuly I am in love with the dress. Also quite practical for cycling actually. It was such a lovely day yesterday, me and some friends had a picnic and i couldn't have wished for a more comfy outfit.

I finally watched Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton. It was rather beautiful, though the plot was a bit.... well not amazing. I obviously found the Lewis Carrol quotes delightful, but you can't really make an Alice film without paying tribute to the original books. I LOVED the costumes though. It was a pretty film, but I'm simply in love with nearly all pieces Alice wore. And I want a top hat! I'm sure I can pull it off.

See: I can pull it off! Me and a friend bought some cheap ones for a volunteer project at ZSL and I loved wearing them. May have to invest in a proper one!

I am not so pleased with the strange April weather and all, least of all with my spring flu. Not fun at all so I had to cheer myself up with some online shopping. Mainly socks and some heart shaped sunglasses, can't wait.

I bought the petticoat in Covent Garden at Rokit and I love it. Slightly inconvenient in the tube but what the hell. I bought the Betsey Johnson top the same day with this outfit in mind. The skirt is from a japanese website, I am utterly in love with the Gothic Lolita look. Well, anything that involves poofy petticoats.

I am quite excited that I am finally getting around to posting my first blog entry. Yay.

Anyway This will mainly be my 'Fashion relief' as I am doomed to wear trousers and 'proper' clothes to work.

I miss dressing nicely every day and try to spice up my work gear as much as possible, not the same as high heels and a LBD though.

Anyway, damn the introductions, this is my latest beautiful thrift shop find:
A silk vintage Anna Sui blouse. I love combining silk and tweed.

My cat adored it too and wouldn't stay out of the pictures. Or maybe she was annoyed that I was stealing her favourite space.
